The introduction of Chainlink Data Feeds on the Scroll Mainnet represents a pivotal step in furthering the commitment initially announced in August. By granting Scroll developers access to reliable and decentralized market data, the collaboration enables the construction of secure, scalable DeFi applications.
Supporting Robust Ecosystem Growth and Innovation
Johann Eid, Chief Business Officer at Chainlink Labs, expressed enthusiasm for supporting the vibrant growth of the Scroll ecosystem, emphasizing the increasing number of Dapp developers actively engaged in constructing DeFi and RWA applications on Scroll.
“Access to high-quality data feeds is critical for building advanced applications that solve important use cases, which will ultimately help scale DeFi and work toward mass adoption,” said Johann Eid.
Before the recent integration, Chainlink Labs announced a strategic partnership with Scroll Foundation to enhance Ethereum scaling capabilities and provide developers with reliable Oracle services.
Chainlink has also announced the upcoming Constellation hackathon, scheduled to begin on November 8, 2023. This platform aims to foster a collaborative environment where developers of all experience levels can unlock their creative potential and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the DeFi ecosystem.
Additionally, Chainlink’s upcoming launch of Chainlink Staking v0.2 marks a major step in its journey toward further innovation and accessibility within the decentralized finance space.
